Margaret Mahy

Margaret Mahy died this week. She was a famous New Zealand children's author who lived in Christchurch.

Miss France shared her favourite book at assembly. I helped Miss France. I was Norvin out of  the book called The Great White Man Eating Shark.Norvin pretended to be a shark. He wanted to swim in the sea on his own.

Miss France really "sold" her favourite Margaret Mahy story well in your room and at assembly! Does anyone else have a favourite Margaret Mahy story? I imagine that lots of her books are being borrowed from libraries and are selling fast in shops at the moment.
