Music festival 2012

last night at the CBS arena the choir went to the music festival to sing.
there were at least 2000 children  and 1000 people wacthing.
it was funny because  the conductor dressed up as the cat in the hat
and a matador.These are some photos of the night.

Also the junoir and senoir choir sang and the children  had there own orcastra.
The theme for this year was images.
the songs that we sang were rainbow conectoin images green eggs and ham, toreador

and much more. It was so amazing at the music festival can't wait to go again.

Ahletics Sports at Hrewood

Athletics

On Wednesday we had our athletics sports at Harewood.

Everybody had lots fun. Shot put and high jump was hard. The events were long jump, high jump, sprints, discus, shot put, relays, obstacle circuit, ball relays and distance.

We used our key competencies-relating to others by encouraging others and helping people.

how to do each event, which leg we start with and what techniec.

help set up gear, don't give up and try your hardest.

not showing of ,don't cheat andset goals.

 and using languages, symbols and texts.
reading the signs,starting line and time and filling in our score cards.

Today the Harewood School speech finalists went to Isleworth School to perform in front of two judges. Everyone was very nervous beforehand but thought it actually went quite well. The ladies were very kind and laughed when I told them something funny.I enjoyedthe experience and hope I get through to the finals at Breens.

Jubilee events

today is our big day!

Today it is Harewoods 150th jubilee we are all so excited about this event. This event will go through this long weekend. We have put the marquee up and it looks amazing!

 The cakes are huge and the flavour is chocolate mmmmmm my favourite!

Today a marquee is going up for the jubilee. We are having a big marquee - we can't wait to see it. The marquee is going to be from the libary to thwe end of the netball court. On Friday school starts at 9:45 and ends at 3:45. We're having a special assembly on Friday too. After school on Friday there is a family barbeque. Yesterday we practiced the songs we will sing. We are singing: The Harewood school song, Dare to dream,He honore and the national anthem. There are going to be lots of special things happening on Saturday anmd Sunday too. We are going to have a Photo booth. There is going to be a very special Harewood school cake made. On Saturday there is going to be a dinner and dance for the adults.

At Harewood School we have just opened our new lunch area .We opened it on Monday 15 October .We opened it for Harewood School's 150th jubilee .The jubilee is on Friday 21st of October !I think it looks great -do you? Jackson
